Our team is highly trained, skilled and passionate.
We are committed to your child's care and providing safe, welcoming and stimulating environments that nurture healthy and happy attitudes.
Our educators are qualified to help support your child’s development and have — or are working toward — education qualifications including:
- Certificate or Diploma of Children’s Services;
- Level 2 First Aid certificate (along with CPR updates);
- Anaphylaxis and EpiPen/AnaPen awareness certificate;
- Emergency Asthma Management certificate.
As well as being exceptionally trained, we continually invest in the skills of our educators so your child receives the best care possible. We support our talented educators by providing training and professional development opportunities designed to keep them informed and up-to-date with the latest child care trends.
Your child’s safety is of paramount importance to us. To help provide a secure environment, all YMCA educators are subject to a police check and a regularly reviewed Working with Children Check before joining the team. We are also an Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) accredited child safe organisation.
It is also our policy that, as a minimum, two educators are on duty at all times at our centres. This policy — which exceeds the minimum staffing requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law — helps ensure your child's safety and gives us time to concentrate on their individual needs.
We believe that a healthy educator-parent relationship plays a big part in ensuring the health and happiness of your child. To help facilitate this, we are dedicated to forming and maintaining a positive partnership with you that is characterised by trust, open communication and respect.
