Under 3's Room

We have gained more new children so we have been busy settling them in and making the families feel as comfortable as possible; doing our best to get to know them and their preferred routine. Educators Sandeep, Susana and Dao have focussed on the National Quality Standard and discussed the 7 quality areas and are becoming more confident using the QK planning app. All staff are becoming more confident using ELYM, a communication tool between educators and parents. Our educators Simona, Melanie and Charente have been doing a great job working as a team and communicating well with each other, giving regular feedback and ideas relating to best care practice. This teamwork is have a noticeable effect on how smooth the Under 3’s room is running.

Educators Melissa, Krystal and Neven would like for all children to be settled into their new environment, to build on children’s interest and development and to spend time focusing on EYLM programming. As a team we worked at setting up new activities and bringing ideas that will benefit children in our room. We continue to support and work together with the other Under 3 rooms as well.

OSHC Update

Children have been doing lots of differing activities in the afternoon OSHC program. Once such activity is craft where lots of learning is happening.  There have been many different experiences amongst the children over the past two months.

We welcomed new children to the program and have all enjoyed doing sports on the primary school oval in the afternoons. Both staff and children are involved in this activity and have really enjoyed this time together as a group. We are looking forward to the Winter School Holiday! Book in now!
