YMCA Children’s Programs is proud to be joining the St Therese's Primary School community.

YMCA Victoria has partnered with St Therese's Primary School to provide outside of school hours care, including a daily Before and After School Program. The Y will commence management from Monday 24 August.
Please note: an official start date for the Before and After School Program is still to be determined, due to the current Stage 3 coronavirus restrictions in place across regional Victoria.
The Y is working with the St Therese's leadership team to determine an appropriate start date and is developing a COVID-Safe plan for the facility.
In the interim, families wishing to use this service are encouraged to complete our enrolment and booking process in preparation for the programs commencement.
This process is completed using an online system called My Family Lounge and is required for both permanent and casual bookings.
To support families through this process, we have included a summary of key steps and considerations on this page.

Session hours and pupil free day
Our Before and After School Program is a terrific solution for busy families and provides a fun, friendly and relaxed environment for your child to grow and learn. We cater to the needs of all children and will offer a range of enjoyable activities.
The program will run sessions Monday to Friday on either side of the St Therese's school day. In addition, we will offer full days of care on pupil free days.
Our opening hours include:
- Before School Care: 7:00am - 8:45am
- After School Care: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
- Pupil Free Day: 7:00am - 6:00pm
The table below outlines daily fees per session for our Before and After School Program. These fees do not include any Child Care Subsidy (CCS) amounts you may be entitled to, which could significantly reduce your out-of-pocket expense.

Enrolment and booking process
Our services use an online enrolments and bookings system called My Family Lounge.
This paperless systems allows you to:
- Enrol your child/ren in our programs
- Submit a new booking request
- Manage existing bookings
- Update your contact details
My Family Lounge can be accessed via desktop or mobile devices, so you can update booking and enrolment details at your convenience. Download the app via the App Store or Google Play.
To create a My Family Lounge account, go to the registration portal. You will be asked to submit a username and password.
Once you have registered and validated your account, you'll be directed to the main dashboard where you can complete an enrolment and submit a booking request.
As you complete your enrolment you will be asked to provide certain information in order to secure a spot for your child. This includes:
- CRN details for parent and child/ren
- Immunisation records
- Medical action plans
- Bank account details
- Your doctor’s contact details
- Citizenship certificate (if required)
- Any court or parenting orders (if required
It should take approximately 30 minutes per child to complete if you have all necessary information at hand. We recommend completing this initial process on a desktop computer and using Google Chrome as the internet browser.
A booking request can then be made for your preferred days and sessions (before or after school). Select 'new request' under the 'booking request' section to get started, then follow the guided prompts and click 'save' once completed.

Direct debit process
YMCA Children’s Programs operates on a fortnightly debit cycle to withdraw payments for our services.
Payments are accepted through direct debit only and families will be asked to provide credit card or bank details during the enrolment process.
On a debit week, families will receive an account statement on the Monday and the direct debit is processed on the Thursday.
Payment is withdrawn for the subsequent two weeks of care your family has booked.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approval
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps eligible families to access approved and registered child care, by subsidising some of the cost. This subsidy could be as high as 85% of the cost of child care.
Families can claim subsidised hours for a range of recognised activities including work, study, job hunting, starting a new business and volunteering.
YMCA Victoria has submitted an application with Services Australia to register our St Therese's program as a CCS approved service. This government driven approval process is can take considerable time.
As a result, it is unlikely this application process will be completed by the Y's management commencement date (Monday 24 August) or the programs start date (still to be determined due to Stage 3 coronavirus restrictions).
We are unable to apply your CCS entitlements until the Government authorisation is received. If you commence care with us prior to this, we will provide the following options to reduce out of pocket expenses.
Option 1. New to child care: if you have not used CCS previously, you will be debited 50% of the full cost of care.
Option 2. Existing users of child care: if you are a current CCS user we can base your fees off existing CCS entitlement.
Please submit your CCS Assessment Letter to our Customer Service Team via email to email@example.com with the subject "St Therese's Primary CCS Assessment Letter".
If you are unable to provide your CCS Assessment Letter, your fees will be debited 50% of the full cost of care.
