We make school holidays fun! Our holiday programs are jam-packed with activities designed to help your child grow and learn from new experiences.

We provide school holiday programs at 31 locations across Melbourne and Victoria. Our holiday programs vary at each of our locations – view your preferred location’s page to see their schedule. Whichever location you attend, there’ll be an exciting mix of activities to help your child have fun, become more confident, and make amazing memories.

Our diverse range of holiday program activities include themed in-house days, incursions and excursions. Your child could take part in sports like basketball, gymnastics or soccer – or enjoy one of our circus, dance or art holiday activities. There’s also cooking, craft, science and STEM-based activities to get involved in. On excursion days, we often head to places like the zoo, local farms, the cinema and ninja parks. Every day is different!

We’ve designed our programs to suit all interests. We know the school holidays can be a juggle, so whether you’re looking for vacation care or ways to keep the kids entertained – we’re here to support you. Our school holiday programs are safe, inclusive and supportive environments where awesome experiences, new friendships and thrilling adventures await. Come and join the fun!

Types of holiday activities

In-house

In-house school holiday program activities are run by our friendly and experienced Educators. These themed days range from science activities, bake-offs and games to art and craft sessions, parties and learning about other countries and cultures. The possibilities are endless!

Incursions

Incursions are led by organisations who visit our holiday program to deliver an activity. Popular incursions have included visits from petting zoos, martial arts experts and specialised sports clinics, as well as professional artists, musicians, silent discos and many more.

Excursions

Excursions take place at a venue off-site. Past holiday program excursions we've organised include trips to bowling and laser tag, the cinema, galleries, local attractions and the zoo. We’ve also had amazing adventures at ninja parks, rock climbing and trampolining centres.

Who can enrol in our holiday programs?

The Y runs holiday programs for primary school kids aged five to 12 years old. Don’t worry if your child doesn't attend the school where our holiday program is based – they’re still welcome to come along and join in the fun. Your child can attend as many days as you like.

How much do holiday programs cost?

You can find the daily price for your holiday program in your location’s program schedule. The daily price varies depending on the type of activity (for example, whether it’s an in-house activity, incursion or excursion). The price listed in the program schedule is the full daily price without any government subsidies that you may be eligible for.

What is your holiday program schedule?

Our school holiday program schedule varies at each of our locations, however it typically includes a mix of in-house activities, incursions and excursions. You can find your location’s schedule by searching for their webpage below. The schedule will be released around four weeks before the start of each school holiday.
