How 'refer a friend' works

• Existing YMCA Early Learning family receives refer a friend email offer
• They forward the email to a friend
• Referred friend submits the form on this page (include referrer's surname in the last box of the form on this page')
• YMCA contacts the referred friend to set up a tour and book child into one of our early learning centres for one day or more
• YMCA will credit a week of free care after 30 days of referred friend's child being booked into a centre, to both you and your friend

There is no limit to how many friends someone can refer. Every referred friend who takes up this offer entitles the referring family to another week of free care.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By taking up the “Week of free care” offer at Point Cook YMCA Early Learning Centre services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on eligibility and how to redeem forms part of the terms of this offer.

2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

2.1 The ‘Offer’ is open to all Victorian residents who have a child enrolled at Point Cook YMCA Early Learning Centre (63-65 Tom Roberts Parade, Point Cook VIC 3030);

a) enrol their child at Point Cook YMCA Early Learning Centre (63-65 Tom Roberts Parade, Point Cook VIC 3030) run by YMCA Victoria, during the offer period.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The offer period is between Tuesday 12 September 2023 and Friday 8 December 2023.

3.2 In order to be eligible, customers must refer a friend/contact to enrol their children at Point Cook YMCA Victoria Early Learning Centre during the ‘offer period’, confirm a permanent booking and then attend for 30 days to receive their selected offer.

Once enrolled, both the referring contact and friend/contact will receive confirmation of enrolment and the offer via email with an opportunity to choose when to redeem the offer of a week of free care.

3.3 Eligible new and existing customers may redeem a selected offer for each individual child enrolled with a permanent booking, after that child has attended for 30 days.

3.4 Enrolments must be completed with a confirmed permanent booking by the end of the offer period, Tuesday 12 September 2023 and Friday 8 December 2023.

3.5 The offer redemption period is between Monday 11 December 2023 and Friday 29 March 2024. Redemption can occur following successful enrolment with a permanent booking and attending the centre for 30 days.

4. OFFERS

4.1 There is one offer available to select. Only one offer may be redeemed per child enrolment. The offer provides one week of free childcare at Point Cook YMCA Early Learning Centre for both the referring contact and friend/contact that enrols with a permanent booking and attends for a minimum of 30 days.

4.2 The offer can be redeemed after a child is enrolled with a permanent booking by the offer period end date, Friday 8 December 2023, and has attended the centre for 30 days. Following the 30 days of attending the centre you have the opportunity to redeem the offer of one free week of care by Friday 29 March 2024.

4.3 Offer can be redeemed and used between Monday 11 December 2023 and Friday 29 March 2024.

4.4 All terms and conditions, and policies and procedures for YMCA Children’s Programs apply to the bookings redeemed using this offer.

4.5 This offer is non-refundable, non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash.

4.6 The offer is only valid for long day care and integrated kinder. The offer is not valid for before school programs, after school programs, school holiday programs or sessional kinder.

4.7 The Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy cannot be received for the days of child care that are covered by this offer.

4.8 YMCA Victoria staff are not eligible to apply for this promotional offer.

5. NO LIABILITY

5.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders YMCA Victoria’s ability to proceed with the offer during the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, pandemic or epidemic, YMCA Victoria may in its absolute discretion cancel the offer and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.

5.2 YMCA Victoria will take no responsibility for offers lost after redemption, or not received due to incorrect email information.

5.3 YMCA Victoria will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:

a) while undertaking any activity connected with their redemption or participation of the offer; or

b) due to the publication of any material, including any statements made by any YMCA staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person.

5.4 If for any reason this offer is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer, the YMCA Victoria reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the offer.

6. PROMOTER’S DETAILS

7. PRIVACY

7.1 YMCA will handle each members' personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy at http://victoria.ymca.org.au/privacy-policy.html

8. MISCELLANEOUS

8.1 YMCA reserves the right to cease and / or revoke the Promotion prior to the end of the Promotion Period in its sole discretion and without notice.

8.2 If YMCA ceases or revokes the Promotion prior to the end of the Promotion Period, it will honour all eligible referrals made before the end of the Promotion Period.

8.3 To the extent permitted by law, YMCA will not be liable to any person for any cost, loss, damage, liability, expense or claim arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the Promotion. 

8.4 Any dispute or situation not covered by these Terms, will be resolved by YMCA management in a manner it deems to be fair (acting reasonably).

8.5 These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

8.6 Each new member will be bound by their terms of membership with YMCA. To the extent of any inconsistency between the terms of membership and these Terms, these Terms will take priority.
